Libby loves visiting Kneesaa and Logray. She can't wait to see her two puppies... toys. She can't wait to dig in the bonsai. She can't wait to steal, yell, dig, eat and generally be the hyper kid... er, dog, you wish (pray) your parents will leave at home. Everything, and I mean everything Kneesaa and Logray know better to do, Libby had a blast with. All this buzzing motion accompanied by her staccato, metronome worthy, ear piercing bark. Ah, Libby Lu.

In the midst of this Dachshund heaven, Brandy started showing Libby the aquariums. Ohhh, fish! and holding Libby becomes problematic. No matter the distance to the aquarium, "Let me at-em!" From that point on she was intense and focused, attempting to: clamber up the fireplace to the aquarium there; psyching her self to leap from the back of the sofa to the aquarium on the room divider. Then she discovered the 90 gallon tank housing an oscar.

Now that is a fish! The Mount Everest of fishing! It is there! I will climb and fish! NOW! It was a good thing the fish tank topped an unscalable stand. We are talking focus here. When she couldn't find a way to climb, she proceeded to pull everything she could reach out of the stand. When this provided no ladder, she began to tear apart anything tearable. At this point point Danny picked her up and held her to the glass. Smish, dachshund nose. Trink, Dachshund teeth, Scritch, scritch, Dachshund toenails. She wanted that fish. (The oscar was totally enthralled with his newly hooked up flat screen TV with an entertaining Dachshund show!)

Later in the evening we could hear Libby crashing around under the office desk. Since that is also a not so secret snack stash for a hungry dad, we all dashed to the office. There she was trying to find a way to the entryway aquarium. Ever known a Dachshund who ignores food? No, well I present to you, Liberty Bella Gonloco. When a hunt is up, she doesn't see, hear, or acknowledge anything edible. Training her was insane. My past experience didn't cover training the unbribable! Trust me it brings out the creativity! While all this was running through my mind Libby was the attention of all.

Suddenly noticing us, she ran to my son and yelled at him. OK, he obligingly picked her up and brought her to the aquarium. We were not prepared for her to attempt to climb on in!

Caught in the Act and on Camera: take 2

Libby Lu working overtime, on overdrive, to entertain her hoomons.

Just after the video stopped, Libby plunged her entire head under the water and had a look around. Dogs and kids always wait until the camera is turned off to do something truly camera worthy! I apologise for the quality of the video; my knowledge of video editing doesn't cover rotating, compression and file sizing. The video does come into focus after a few seconds.

I loving Libby and her fishing. the first thing she did when we arrived home from Down Below, was to dash out to check on her pond fish... that's our Lu

wishing you a pleasant and relaxing day,
