I wonder how many times I have rebooted my blog. I've gone from CSS/HTML written by my sweetie. Wordpress, HTML template, back to Wordpress with many restarts and now Zola a static website generator. I chose the theme hacker.

As ever setting up a new website with a static generator is... interesting. I exist in a permanent state of confusion. Questions of timeformat = "" vs date = "" in the config.toml. Confusion about the time format: T00:00:00+00:00 returns the time several hours out even though MST is selected. I am too befuddled to deal with much of this now! What do I always say? "Be Still, Be Calm, Breathe!" Mostly it works if I can stop spinning long enough to actually do so!
Favicon perplexion rules here, too. This green hacker 'h' just isn't a 'Z' of the appropriate colours. Speaking of colours: black must be dark brown; blue would be better golden-red; white text please make it cream; post date ... not sure white to grey. cream to cringe, I mean beige?
Then there is the ./ in front of my site title. Can this be changed? Maybe a html entity musical note, a Z (1) Should I be obfuscating my email and how? I would like to put a Bluesky Social icon beside the email one in the footer. Can this be done?
Can these problems be solved? Can the Little Brown Bird's brain survive the mental work out? Can this blog be saved? Does it deserve to be saved?! Will I actually keep going this time? Stay tuned for the answer to these and other unfathomable questions.
