:: for a Jug

swirly magic
This is an old project I love to use, touch, pet and generally feast my eyes upon. The colours of the sock yarn cannot get any better, just for the record. It is made with miles of i-cord. Once I get started with my trusty knitting dolly, I just can't stop. Yarn! More Yarn!
It gets lots of use with my various mugs... fat mugs are the best. When I pick up smaller mugs, it gets left behind. But then who wants a small mug of hot. Especially not when the beverage of choice is thick creamy hot chocolate... or black as a night with no moon coffee.
The second there is a hint of warmer weather my mid-day caffeine of choice is cold brew coffee. I add a smidge of sweetened condensed milk and fill a jar to the brim with ice. Bliss... heaven... nirvana... ouch! cold, cold, cold. Sorry, forgot my wool hug to protect my fingers.
and as a bonus: signs of spring!
Yes, signs of spring, even though it snowed a couple of centimetres last night. It is warm enough to melt on the deck and a few bare patches of ground. Chirpa found it heavy going on our walk; his long feathery coat is a snowball catcher. Oh, and he protested long and loudly! He does NOT like the ice under fresh snow NOR the Rottweiler's jolly ball!
I wish you safe walking on the ice or beautiful spring flowers (which ever might apply to you).
Warmest wishes,
Zuzanna
