Welcome to Spring in Fort Nelson, circa 2013.
When you live in the north, cultivating this attitude is a must in order to retain what sanity you have left when March 21st rolls around... or become a long-haired miniature dachshund until the snow melts around the May long weekend. "Pffft, a wee bit of snow doesn't slow us down." "Just look at us playing in the snow."
"Right, you lot aren't so cocky off the beaten trail now, are you!" And here I am, just me, being ignored as only insulted dachshunds can ignore their insulter.
the drift is a fantastic cooler of hot food :)
On a long distant note: here is a terrible photo of a far off Zahn, Paploo and Chirpa exchanging words with some rascally ravens. Wish they had been closer for a better picture. It was entertaining to observe them exchanging insults.
